South Korea reports no new local cases, and 4 imported cases in the last 24 hours.
Korea is now recognized as the country that can best defend itself against the Corona virus.
It is the first time that South Korea has announced no new cases of infection since the pandemic started 75 days ago. This makes a total of 10,765 cases of infection.
Korea experienced a peak of infection of 909 people on February 29 and the virus was first detected on January 20 inside the country.
The country has implemented a policy of social distancing, which has led to the cancellation of all groups of people (concerts, festivals, gathering of religious worship …). The country also postponed the start of the school year which was to take place at the beginning of March, and for the past few days Korean students have resumed lessons but only by videoconference only.
A country in which the rules have been scrupulously followed by the inhabitants in order to contain this virus as quickly as possible.
