Singer GONG MINZY, former member of the group 2NE1, will release a new song.

GONG MINZY, who made her debut in 2009 with 2NE1, changed agencies for The Music Works in order to make her debut as a solo singer after the group’s dissolution. However, she didn’t undertake active solo activities and submitted a court injunction in September of last year against her agency, The Music Works, to suspend her exclusive contract. In October of the same year, she also filed a civil lawsuit with The Music Works to confirm the absence of exclusive contracts.
Later, GONG MINZY announced on April 17th through its SNS that it had concluded negotiations with its agency. On April 30th, through a live SNS broadcast, she said, “I love all of my long-waiting fans. This is a song I want to sing with you. I’ll be back to you in May.“, shedding tears over the expectations of fans.
GONG MINZY will be back on May 24th with the title “Lovely“.
