BTOB : Newsletter of the week
It’s a week full of new contents that has just ended for the fans of BTOB.
With 5 members currently serving, the KPOP band BTOB hasn’t been as much on the spotlight since 2018, helped by the leader, SEO EUN KWANG and one of the rappers, PENIEL.
Since he got discharged on APril 7th, the leader SEO EUN KWANG keeps on appearing on several Shows. It’s a week full of new contents for the fans that just ended.
ARTICLE – CONCEPT “FoRest ENTRANCE”
Monday, June 8th
Official live launching of the album “FoRest ENTRANCE” by SEO EUN KWANG with the main title being “No One Knows”. The album got Released with 2 versions, SILVER version and LIGHT version, SILVER LIGHT being the nickname of the singer (EUN : Silver, KWANG : Light). For the release of the album, a press conference has been organized where the singer talked about the production of the album, about his intentions for the listeners and also about making the Music Videos. He also expressed his feelings about the launch of his solo career.
After the press conference, the singer made a launching live of his album that the fans have been able to follow on Youtube. He explained the problems he encountered while producing the album and the Music Videos. He also answered to few questions of his fans. PENIEL, the only other member who’s not currently serving (American citizen, he doesn’t have the military duty), came to show his support to his leader and friend for the launch of his solo career

The song “Dear My Dear” is entirely dedicated to the Melodies (BTOB fandom name). He thanks them for their support and patience, as the BTOB leader but also as a solo singer.

After the launching live of his album, the singer appeared on 1theK, singing for the very first time his song “No One Knows“.

On the same day, he launched, on twitter, an invite to his fans to ask him question with the hashtag #AskEUNKWANG, promising to answer on a live video via the Twitter Blue Room. A lot of videos have been published on the official twitter account of BTOB (@OFFICIALBTOB) where the singer reads and answers the questions. During the live video, the rapper PENIEL surprised the BTOB fans by calling SEO EUN KWANG.

To end up his day, the singer finally wished a good night to his fan through a live on his Intagram account. As he is used to do it, he read and answered comments from the viewers before saying goodbye.
Tuesday, June 9th
The singer has been invited to the SBS Radio studios to officially sing his song for first time. SEO EUN KWANG appeared being nervous, probably because of his solo debuts and a live performance after being away for such a long time due to his military service. Thus, his performance has been, as usual, perfect and the singer has proved, once again, his unique and powerful voice.

SEO EUN KWANG also launched a “Cover Contest” for the song“No One Knows”.
The leader of BTOB also made, during his day, a live video on the VLIVE application, where he showed up in a pyjama. The video lasts for almost 2 hours.
Apart from the leader’s activity, another member of the band has showed up on a picture with his military uniform. JUNG IL HOON, rapper, has started his military service on May 28th and has already been seen on 3 different pictures, which make his fans happy. The star seems to behealthy and he seems to be doing well in his military service.
While he is even away due to his military service that he started on May 11th, the vocalist and Maknae (youngest member) of the band, YOOK SUNG JAE, is also on the spotlight because of his KDrama “THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR”. He plays a man called HAN KANG BAE, young worker in a Customer Service of a supermarket, who’s having supernatural power he wishes to get rid of. In an episode, the young KANG BAE has to find a dancing partner for a internal contest in the company he works in. He will have to make a duo with an ex security agent who got fired because of him. CUBE Entertainment published a video of the making of the scene where the actor are training for the contest’s dancing scene.
Wednesday, June 10th
SEO EUN KWANG appeared in the show WEEKLY IDOL with one of the rappers of the band, PENIEL. The duo, close friends, did amuse the public while introducing the very first solo album of the leader of BTOB. Together, they talked about the missing members (LEE CHANG SUB, LEE MIN HYUK, LIM HYUNSIK, YOOK SUNG JAE, JUNG IL HOON) and wished them to remain in good health in the army, until their comeback. Impatient to group up with all the 7 members, SEO EUN KWANG and PENIEL gave a positive and warm message to the Melodies, asking them to wait a little bit more untill they can find each other for the 10th anniversary of the band, in 2022.

Melodies had the surprise to see another member of the band, one of the vocalists, while he is still serving. LEE CHANG SUB, to be discharged on August 21st, showed up singing in a video of the NATIONAL CEMETERY where he is currently serving.
Thursday, June 11th
SEO EUN KWANG showed up again in a Show. Invited in M COUNTDOWN, he did sing his song.
Apart from this, a new episode of “THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR” had a lot of success due to a scene where YOOK SUNG JAE was dressed up in a very theatrical costume.
Friday, June 12th
Invited to the show MUSIC BANK, SEO EUN KWANG performed in a highschool uniform, hoping the young people would understand that his song has also been written for them.
Also invited to the show SIMPLY KPOP, SEO EUN KWANG has, once again, shown his talent and his powerful voice.
Finally, the singer showed up for the first time alone in SHOW TIME where he did confess funny anecdotes about his life as an artist.
Apart from this, CUBE Entertainment published a “Behind the scenes” video of the episode where YOOK SUNG JAE participates to a dancing contest in the drama “THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR”.
Saturday, June 13th
CUBE Entertainment published a new mini episode of the Beatcom (n° 110.5) that counts the daily routine of YOOK SUNG JAE while he was recording “THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR”.
SEO EUN KWANG has been invited to MUSIC CORE to perform his song.
Sunday, June 14th
To end perfectly this week, a new video of the SBS Studios have been published where SEO EUN KWANG sings “No One Knows”.
The official BTOB twitter account published, today, a video where SEO EUN KWANG is practising for a dance cover with 2 members of APINK.
This is how this week ends, full of new videos and new songs to listen, so the fans and keep on being amazed by the talents of their favorite idols.
