SF9: A fire comeback

SF9 just unveil the MV of “여름 향기가 날 춤추게 해 (Summer Breeze)” title song of their future album “9LORYUS: PROLOGUE”. 

The MV that the FANTASY, fans of the SF9 is finally unveiled for their greatest pleasure. We find the ambience that was in the video teasers, an atmosphere a little mafioso, of settling accounts, very masculine and very sexy. Indeed, we can see that all members are armed and exchange shots after HWIYOUNG opens fire upon entering the bar where the rest of the members are. However, a bullet lands in a mirror and pierces the wall that lets out the rays of the sun that seem to soothe the spirits. Then they pull on all the walls to let in even more this light source. Once the light appears we find the boys on the roof of a building in a very different atmosphere and in very different outfits. In the MV we can notice the presence of the bracelet that was already present in the boys’ old comeback for the song “Good guy”. In addition, the almost omnipresent presence of a living golden snake or not. What does this presence mean? The snake is a universal symbol that is found in many cultures embodying infinite immortality, and the underlying forces leading to the creation of Life. But also considered both as a symbol of life and death, of wisdom and chaos. This ambiguity of the serpent is best manifested in its double symbolism of life giver and messenger of death. What do SF9 want to mark with the presence of this snake? What is sure is that the boys want to mark the spirits even more.

The song is very explosive, very bewitching and that really makes you want to dance. In addition, you can hear touches of old American western movies with whistles reminding the settling of accounts. The choreography is also explosive, millimetric, sexy and with a movement of choreography that will be the hallmark of the song as they used to do. A comeback strong in emotion and meaning which, we hope, will be crowned with success.

SF9 is composed of YOUNGBIN, INSEONG, JAEYOON, DAWON, ROWOON, ZUHO, TAEYANG, HWIYOUNG and CHANI.  The latter thanks to their previous comeback for “Good guy” won their first victories in music shows.
