BTS: Looking back on 2019 with the “Memories of 2019”
Yesterday, it was with a little teaser lasting a few seconds that Bighit Entertainment announced the release of “Memories of 2019“, an opportunity for fans to relive the greatest moments of the group of the past year.
Each year, BTS‘s agency, Bighit Entertainment, releases a box set called “Memories of” followed by the relevant year. This set consists of retrospectively retracing the previous year and the memorable moments experienced by the group, through photos and videos. If the year 2018 had required 4 discs with a total duration of 480 minutes, the year 2019 for its part requires 6 discs for an overall duration of 700 minutes, a sign that this year was full of rebound and memories for the group BTS.
This year, pre-orders will begin July 22nd at 11 am KST, but release dates will be much later and will depend on the version chosen by the lucky purchaser. As a result, the release of the DVD version is scheduled for August 12th, 2020 while the Blu-Ray version will only be released for the start of the school year, more precisely on September 10th, 2020.
Thus, two versions of this “Memories of 2019” are offered for sale and if the video content is identical to the BLU-RAY version and the DVD version, the content of the box set is quite different. Consequently, the DVD box will contain a photocard, a photobook of more than one hundred pages, a small booklet of special memories of BTS of about forty pages and many other goodies, as for the Blu-Ray box, the discs will be this time accompanied by photos and a photocard.
