A new string is added to the young man’s bow!
After having written and composed songs such as “Energetic” for Wanna one, “Like paradise” for Kriesha Chu, or even “Shine“, “Like this” and more recently “Dr Bebe” for his own group, and after participating on the Mnet BREAKERS show in 2018 where he found himself in the final against Penomeco, HUI, the leader of the group PENTAGON will soon take his first steps as a musical comedy actor.
This Thursday, July 22nd, it was confirmed that HUI will play its very first role since his debut in 2016 in the musical “Sonata on flame”. Upon hearing this news, the Universes (PENTAGON fans) were filled with excitement and curiosity.
“Sonata on flame“, based on the novel of the same name, depicts the story of J, a composer who never wrote a single song despite his splendid beginnings and S, muse and friend of J’s incredibly talented but never can not record music.
In this musical, HUI will take on the role of J, an unlucky songwriter who was creating lavish songs as his death neared. He will be on stage alongside Super Junior’s Ryeowook, N.Flying’s Hwesung and Golden Child’s Joochan.
The premiere of “Sonata on flame” will take place on August 15th and will be broadcast in the United States, Japan and Southeast Asia.
