Before their official debut, the members of TREASURE share with us their feelings about the choreography of their first song “BOY” and its learning.
The debut of TREASURE is imminent, the MV of “BOY” release tomorrow and the latest videos and photos to arouse the excitement of their fans, the Teumes, follow one another.
On August 5th, a new video was posted on the group’s networks. The black and white images show us the members rehearsing the choreography of “BOY“, a performance that YG Entertainment has previously announced as powerful, unheard of.
At the start very solemn, the music accelerates as well as the rhythm of the extracts, we go from a piano solo to the instrumental version of “BOY” which had already been revealed at Teumes in the animated poster posted on August 3rd. This assembly undoubtedly accompanies the countdown present in this video.
Indirectly attending a tiny part of the boys’ workouts allows us to appreciate several things: their work, their rigor, their perseverance, their efforts to perfect their synchronization and their movements right down to their fingertips. Even if we don’t yet know anything about singing and still little about music as a whole, we feel that it lives in them and that they give the best of themselves. We can therefore expect intense performances on stage.
In voiceover, the members give us their feelings on this choreography by insisting on its level of difficulty and on the efforts that it took them to be up to it. Several of them also seem proud of the bonds that were strengthened between the members during the rehearsals. They have the feeling that they have become a more united group as they learn the choreography (and more broadly, prepare for their debut). The unity that reigns within the group is also reflected in the images.

The MV for “BOY” is scheduled for August 7th (6pm) while TREASURE’s debut single album, “THE FIRST STAPE: CHAPTER ONE“, is released in physical form on August 13th. After becoming, among the novice groups (having started or whose debut is planned for 2020), the first in number of pre-sales, TREASURE now competes with the record of Wanna one which is so far the boy group to have sold the more copies of their debut album in the industry. Regardless, TREASURE is a boy group that already promises to mark 2020 and K-Pop more generally with its “Treasure effect“.
