BLACKPINK’s debut MV, “Whistle,” has surpassed 600 million views on YouTube. This is BLACKPINK’s seventh MV with 600 million views.

According to YG Entertainment on December 30th, BLACKPINK’s “Whistle” music video surpassed 600 million views on YouTube as of 3:08 am that same day.
BLACKPINK now has 7 MV with over 600 million views “Whistle” and “Ddu-du ddu-du” (1.4 billion views), “Kill this love” (1.1 billion views), “Boombaya” (1 billion views), “As if it’s your last”, “How you like that” (700 million views), “Playing with fire” (600 million views).
This is the highest record for a K-pop girl group. BLACKPINK, who just two days ago saw a new MV reach that number, “Playing with fire“, is set to break their own record again thanks to JENNIE’s solo song, “Solo” .
“Whistle” is one of the double tracks from BLACKPINK’s debut single “SQUARE ONE“. The music video drew attention for its colorful and sophisticated visual beauty. It has also captivated the eyes and ears of music fans around the world with the varied visuals and unique melodic lines of its members.
Upon the release of BLACKPINK’s “Whistle” in August 2016, it hit a “Perfect All Kill” on major music sites, the daily and weekly charts, and peaked for 16 consecutive days.
