WEEEKLY
Girl group WEEKLY confirmed its return on March 17th.

PlayM Entertainment said on February 24 that “WEEEKLY will be releasing their third mini album ‘WE PLAY‘ on March 17th and will begin promoting it.” This is the first time in five months that WEEEKLY has met its fans since their second mini album “WE CAN” released in October of last year.
Earlier at midnight on February 24th, the agency released a photo teaser announcing the release of the third mini album, via WEEKLY’s official SNS, signaling new activity for WEEEKLY. The teaser image, complemented by a cute accessory illustration with a green background, catches the eye, raising expectations for WEEKLY’s return before it comes in March.
WEEEKLY’s new album “WE PLAY” is expected to feature the story of “passionate teens of every moment” under the theme of energetic everyday life and freedom of these, giving a glimpse of the lively charm “K-Highteen “from WEEEKLY who has grown a little more.
In particular, the title track from WEEEKLY‘s new album is known to have been worked on by Ryan Jeon, a “K-pop hit song maker” who worked on “Celebrity” from IU and “Dolphin” Oh My Girl, which raised expectations. Attention is focused on whether the meeting between Ryan Jeon, who recently rocketed every song he’s worked with with a female artist, and “Super Rookie” WEEEKLY can create a new sensation.
WEEEKLY, which has gained attention as a new girl group launched by PlayM Entertainment about a decade since Apink, in June of last year, has achieved 20,000 cumulative sales with its debut album “WE ARE“, proving its potential from the start. WEEEKLY, who continued their momentum with new sales records with their second mini album “WE CAN“, posted the highest sales figures among newbie girl groups in 2020, proving a steep rise in awards the end of the year.

The music industry is paying great attention to the new activities of WEEEKLY in 2021, which are evolving with each album.
