JAY B thrives at the top of the charts with his single “Switch it up” .
Following the announcement of JAY B‘s new label H1GHR MUSIC, his single “Switch it up” racked up the top of the charts and seduced the general public.
With this first solo title as a member of the Hip-Hop family, JAY B set his new start with an artistic side of him he has rarely shown through his releases with GOT7. Although his fans can distincitvely recognize his style from the subtle R&B touches that colored his productions with the septet and from his experimental musical work published on SoundCloud and with ØFFSHORE, it is a first for the general public.
Yet, this new musical side made him land at the top of global charts. On the day of its release, “Switch it up” charted #1 on iTunes in 45 countries all around the world and earned him the first place on the Worldiwde and European iTunes song charts. On the domestic market as well, his new single won over Hip-Hop and R&B enthusiasts as he peaked at 1 on Genie’s real time chart, the second streaming platform in South Korea.

With over 3 million views on YouTube, 1 million streams on Spotify and a number of unique listeners surpassing 40 000 on Genie and 300 000 on Spotify, the fervor doesn’t seem to die down and suggests a promising year for the artist who has already 3 albums waiting to be finalized.
