G-DRAGON‘s highly anticipated PEACEMINUSONE x Nike (NYSE: NKE -0.14%) collaboration with the Kwondo 1 has finally received an official release date.
Earlier this month, the iconic K-Pop singer unveiled pairs of limited edition shoes to friends and family in different color versions.
The collaborative silhouette is in white leather and features brogue details on the toe inspired by the Nike Tiempo or classic golf shoes. The pair adopts a lower cut and features uppers mostly constructed with smooth white leathers and tonal Swooshes on the side panels. On the top of the throat are branded lace shrouds that see the PEACEMINUSONE logo on the right shoe and the Nike logo on the left. Both labels are embossed in black. The quintessential PEACEMINUSONE daisy logo is featured on the heels and soles, with the step featuring a yellow daisy emblem to complete the shoe.
In a recent press release, G-DRAGON shares:
«I want to feel free in the way I wear and style clothes, in addition to whatever I do. I hope people can overcome stereotypes and feel free in their own way by wearing the Kwondo 1. »
G-DRAGON‘s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 will be released on Nike SKNRS and participating retailers on December 3rd.
