B.I.G tells an honest story in a comeback documentary.
A few days ago, B.I.G GUNMIN, J-HOON, HEEDO, and JINSEOK published a teaser on their Youtube channel to announce the release of their comeback documentary. The first episode came out on 17 November in which the members are interviewed one by one. They speak openly about their feelings two years after their last comeback « Illusion ». They also talk about the group, their eight years of career, and their fans.
In this first episode, J-HOON confesses that he thought that B.I.G wouldn’t be there when he would come back from the military.
GUNMIN explains that he didn’t want to make this comeback at first because he had been working nonstop since June with 777 (TRIPLE SEVEN) and NIK. He is also the leader of the three groups so he really wanted to rest a bit. But this comeback seemed important for the members who each had a reason to do it. And after listening to the song, he realized that they indeed had to do this comeback, because it was talking about their story, the reason why they wanted to become idols, and their dreams back then.
Meanwhile, HEEDO confesses that he was feeling bad at a certain period of time. Fortunately, making his debut with 777 and performing with B.I.G during its online concerts helped him a lot. He realized that the fans were still there, that they still loved him and it gave him strength. He wanted to give the better of himself while doing this comeback to keep B.I.G alive.
JINSEOK is the youngest member. He arrived in the group in 2019 and never had the opportunity to make a real comeback with B.I.G (« Illusion » only came out with an MV without a promotion). He explains that he became more self-confident while making his debut with 777 and performing during the online concerts with B.I.G. He really wants to give his best for this comeback because it might be the last.
The fans were moved to see the boys talking about their story and their feelings so honestly. When you support a group, you can’t imagine all the hardship they’ve been through and all the doubts. This comeback documentary explains everything truthfully with no filter.
A new episode will be published every Wednesday and every Saturday at 8 pm KST on their Youtube channel, so don’t forget to subscribe if you don’t want to miss them out.
Meanwhile, on 13 November, the group published a photo on their SNS to announce their comeback untitled « Flashback ».

On 15 November, B.I.G released a teaser photo with an autumn atmosphere that really pleased the fans.

The first individual teaser photos came out after that with a picture of GUNMIN with red hair and a picture of J-HOON with white hair. Both have a melancholic look like they were daydreaming looking at a fixed point outside the frame.
A first teaser video also came out today. The boys are driving a Volkswagen minibus looking outside with a smile. It feels like they are in the ’70s. The teaser ends with GUNMIN, HEEDO, J-HOON, and JINSEOK standing from the back looking at the sky with their arms around each other.
B.I.G debuted in 2014 with five members: J-HOON, BENJI, GUNMIN, HEEDO, and MINPYO. JINSEOK joined the group in 2019 while J-HOON was doing his military duty. And since BENJI and MINPYO‘s contract got terminated, they are now four members: GUNMIN, J-HOON, HEEDO, and JINSEOK.
B.I.G has conducted a Global Cover Project by posting various Arab song cover videos such as « La Bezzaf » « LM3ALLEM » « Boshret Kheir », and « 3DAQAT » on SNS. In December 2019, the members were awarded the “Korean Award for shining Korea” in recognition of their contribution to promoting K-pop to the Arab region, and they got appointed as Goodwill Ambassadors for the KAS (Korea-Arab Society) last month.
B.I.G is the first group in K-Pop history that released an album in Arabic thanks to its steady popularity in the Arab region. The group also showed off its global influence by participating in online performances for its global fans.
Meanwhile, the members recently showed off their unique charm as a mixed group with 777 (TRIPLE SEVEN) along with 3YE. 777 debuted in August with the song « Presente ».
The song « Flashback » will come out on 23 November at 6 pm KST.
