SEVENTEEN: Fantastic performances at “KBS Song Festival 2021”
The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dogyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) filled the “KBS Song Festival 2021” with numerous performances.
SEVENTEEN appeared at KBS2’s “KBS Song Festival 2021”, which aired on the afternoon of December 17th, proving his reputation as a “K-pop Performance Representative” with a variety of charms, from the duo of DOGYEOM and SEUGKWAN then “Crush”, to the performances of “Ready to love” and “Rock with you“.
That same day, “KBS Song Festival 2021” was held under the theme “With”, in order to raise morale and move forward with artists and K-POP fans unable to meet due to the global pandemic, so SEVENTEEN’s DOGYEOM and SEUNGKWAN got together for the scene of Kim Gun-mo and Park Kwang-hyun’s “Together”.
DOGYEOM and SEUNGKWAN, nicknamed “메보즈 (Meboz)” from SEVENTEEN, showcased explosive singing skills with a powerful voice and unwavering vocal skills, creating a performance of “Together” that exclusively contains the emotions of DOGYEOM and SEUNGKWAN, leaving a strong impact.
On the next stage, SEVENTEEN beautifully presented an intro with a dance break and warmed the mood with a powerful group dance performance from their ninth mini album “ATTACCA” for the track “Crush”. The group then showed off their elegant dance line with details on the stage for the title track “Ready to love” from their 8th mini album “YOUR CHOICE”.
Finally, the scene for “Rock with you”, the title track of the 9th mini-album, which begins with VERNON’s flashy solo dance, took place. The addition of the group’s arrangement instantly mesmerized viewers with a performance of explosive energy.
SEVENTEEN also racked up various records this year. He once again reached millions of sales obtaining a fifth title of “million seller” with his ninth mini album “ATTACCA” and was named the only artist to have recorded this title twice in a row this year, he managed to to appear on the Billboard Main Albums chart “Billboard 200” for two consecutive weeks, setting her own best record. The title track “Rock with you” was selected as “Best K-Pop Song of 2021” by TIME, an American weekly magazine.
