A new group of boys, but they’re not rookies.
Named AQA 아큐아, consisting of 5 members PAWKY 포키, HWAN 환, BONGGEUN 봉근, YUSEONG 유성 HUYU 후유, the group is already performing live and actively preparing for its debut which should take place this year. The album began to be recorded and photo shoots followed.
These 5 faces are not unknown to you if you have known kpop for a few years. We tell you a little more about the 5 members starting with HWAN and PAWKY. The 2 boys were both part of the boy group ROADBOYZ which debuted in 2015 and unfortunately broke up in October 2016.
PAWKY was performing at that time under the name MACA (real name Kim Minsuk), he was born on August 19, 1991 and comes from Busan. HWAN has not changed his name, he was born June 14, 1991 and he too comes from Busan. The two boys had performed as a duo after the group ROADBOYZ disbanded, on the streets of Seoul in Hongdae under the name LIBERTY. They were also part of the performing street dance group D.O.B.
You will then find the other 3 boys, BONGGEUN was also part of the group of dancers of D.O.B, and was able to make his solo debut, as for YUSEONG and HUYU they are both part of Just Color Studio, as a dancer, and the first was also within D.O.B.
The boys organized the “AQA Christmas concert” on December 25 in Hongdae, which allowed them to meet some of their fans. Thus bringing them a special Christmas gift, such as the title “Wonder”.
