MAMAMOO’s SOLAR, who will be making a solo comeback after a year and 11 months, has released a preview of the making of the new album.
At midnight today, SOLAR uploaded an album-related video previewing her first mini album “容: FACE” via her official SNS.
The video shows SOLAR, who attended a planning and prep meeting related to the album, talking seriously with the staff. SOLAR actively pitched ideas, listened to staff, and worked hard to improve the completeness of the new album.
In particular, SOLAR raised questions when discussing the new song, saying, “The concept of the previous work was good, but I thought it was necessary to accept what people wanted,” adding, “The song might become obvious, so shouldn’t we decorate it fancy?“
SOLAR will release their first mini album “容: FACE” on March 16. “容: FACE” is SOLAR’s first mini-album featuring her real name symbol. SOLAR herself participated in the concept and performance planning as well as the song work and filled it with her color and personality.
The new installment contains a total of five tracks, including the title track “Honey”, “Raw”, “Chap Chap”, “Big booty” and “Zinggle zinggle”. With SOLAR’s name on all four songs written and composed, RBW hitmakers Kim Do-hoon, Seo Yong-bae and Minky added their support.
SOLAR’s first mini album, “容: FACE“, will be released on various music sites on March 16.
