BTS: J-HOPE, tested positive for COVID-19

BTS member J-HOPE tested positive for COVID-19.

On March 24, 2022, BIG HIT MUSIC shared an official statement on the WEVERSE application regarding the state of health of J-HOPE, rapper, dancer and lyricist of the BTS group.

This statement indicates that J-HOPE, whose real name is HOSEOK, began to feel a slight sore throat and, as a result, went to the hospital on March 23 to take a PCR test. The dancer was found to be positive for COVID-19.

In accordance with the country’s health regulations, J-HOPE will remain isolated at home in order to receive treatment if necessary. The agency said the rapper was not suffering from any symptoms other than the sore throat he had felt since the day before.

Even so, BIG HIT MUSIC is reassuring fans that J-HOPE will be participating in the group’s activities next month. He will therefore be present at the concerts planned in Las Vegas as well as at the performance of BTS at the GRAMMYs.

We wish him a good recovery.
