LISA: A new record against herself

BLACKPINK’s LISA continues her race for worldwide popularity.

According to her agency YG Entertainment, on April 28, LISA achieved 200 million streams on Spotify with “Lalisa” released in September last year. It is the second fastest record among solo female K-pop artists.

The shortest record was 200 million streams in 65 days with LISA’s other song “Money”. LISA has proven its global impact by placing its name in first and second place in the category.

The title track from LISA’s solo album “Lalisa” topped iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 72 countries at the time of its release. It topped the top 100 global YouTube songs for two consecutive weeks.

It then reached number two on the US Billboard Global 200 chart, followed by number 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 64 on the UK Official Singles Top 100.
