GOLDEN CHILD: TAG rests to recover well

TAG, 24, whose real name is Son Young Taek, member of the group GOLDEN CHILD will temporarily suspend his activities due to health problems.

On May 23, his agency Woollim Entertainment stated, “We will do our best to ensure our artist recovers properly, based on the recommendation of medical staff and TAG’s physical stability.“

According to Woollim Entertainment, TAG was hospitalized in a general hospital on the morning of May 18 and undergone a thorough examination under the advice of a specialist due to his recent poor state of health. Following the first test, he was diagnosed with a poor condition of his liver. Luckily, Woollim Entertainment explains that the test results and health conditions have improved a lot with further testing and continued treatment.

However, as TAG stabilizes, GOLDEN CHILD‘s schedule, like the US tour, will run on an eight-member system for the time being.

Woollim Entertainment said, “We are sorry to have so many fans worried about this sudden news. We will do our best to help TAG recover quickly.”

TAG debuted as a member of GOLDEN CHILD in 2017. He is the main rapper of the group. Recently, GOLDEN CHILD has gained momentum overseas. From June 24 to July 11, they will set off on a North American tour that will visit a total of 10 cities. On June 11, he will release his second single in Japan, “Rata-Tat-Tat“.
