MONSTA X: KIHYUN new MC of “Play!”
MONSTA X‘s KIHYUN has been selected as a solo host for Naver NOW’s new live show.
KIHYUN will return as a solo host for “PLAY!” every Monday at 8 p.m. KST starting November 7 via Naver NOW.
During Naver NOW’s comeback show “#OUTNOW” held on October 24, KIHYUN excited fans by breaking the news of returning as a host with the surprise video teaser for “PLAY!” and also released a poster, attracting attention.
In the released poster, KIHYUN showed off his dandy side with a hoodie and captivated fans with his sexy and charismatic smile in a black leather jacket. In the poster released in two versions, KIHYUN showed off different charms, further raising expectations for the broadcast.
“PLAY!” hosts two concepts, “Talk” and “Music”, in turn every two weeks. Under the concept of “Talk”, hosts and viewers will share their daily lives and talk freely and frankly on various topics, and through the concept of “Music”, artists will be invited to perform with the best group sessions, as well as talk and collaborate instantly with guest voices.
Previously, KIHYUN was in charge of weekday nights as the host of “Late Night Idol” with MONSTA X member I.M until April. KIHYUN successfully completed 150 episodes by showing off his hosting skills by tactfully delivering stories, adding fun to the program, sharing more than singers and fans, and advising viewers’ concerns.
As a result, the focus is on the charm that KIHYUN, who will be returning as the first solo host, will show on the new show.
