VERIVERY: A comeback according to Arnold van Gennep’s theory

After the announcement of the comeback yesterday, the group VERIVERY reveals to us at midnight KST, on its social networks, a first image so that we can visualize the concept of the comeback a little.

Moreover thanks to this publication we discover the name of the album of VERIVERY, which will release its 3rd single, is “LIMINALITY – EP. Love – Tap tap“.

But why “Liminality”? According to the dictionary, liminality is the second constitutive stage of the ritual according to Arnold van Gennep’s theory, and encompasses the concept of the 😯 edge. According to this theory, the ritual causes changes for its participants, including changes in status. Which leads us to think that the group will bring us change compared to these last publications. The group VERIVERY which is composed of 7 members, DONGHEON, HOYOUNG, MINCHAN, GYEHYEON, YEONHO, YONGSEUNG and KANGMIN, led by Jellyfish Entertainment will make its comeback on November 14th.
