NEW JEANS‘ debut song “Cookie” proudly took a place in the “2022 best song” published by The New York Times on December 7 (local time). Among the 70 songs selected for the New York Times “2022 best song“, “Cookie” is the only kpop song.

The “2022 best song” was made by three pop music critics.

Jon Caramanica ranked “Cookie” 11th, stating, “‘Cookie’, the best song from the debut album of the impressive kpop girl group NEW JEANS, stands out above all for its comfort which is not excessive.”
