TAEYANG: His next title “Vibe” with Jimin of BTS

Singer TAEYANG has confirmed the release of his solo song for the first time in six years. The featuring artist is Jimin, a member of the group BTS.

On January 4, TAEYANG’s agency The Black Label released the teaser image for TAEYANG’s new digital single “VIBE,” which will be released at 2 p.m. KST on January 13 for the first time on its official SNS.

The teaser image released on the same day draws attention as it shows TAEYANG and Jimin staring at the camera with outfits and atmosphere reminiscent of the “bad boys” side. Additionally, the phrase “2023.01.13 2PM,” which announces the release date, raises the expectations of fans around the world ahead of the release of the collaboration between the two artists.

“Vibe” is set to be the first song released by TAEYANG, who has his own groove and unparalleled voice, as a solo artist in six years. The focus is on the synergy that BTS member Jimin’s delicate sensibility will create.

TAEYANG, who debuted as a member of group BIGBANG in 2006, recently terminated his contract with his former agency YG Entertainment and built a new nest at The Black Label, led by producer Teddy, reporting activities of strong solo artist in the future.
