KARA
KARA, which represents second-generation girl groups, will hold a fan meeting in Japan for the first time in about eight years and meet local fans.

KARA (Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Nicole, Kang Jiyoung, and Heo Youngji) sold out 15,000 tickets for “KARA 15TH ANNIVERSARY FAN MEETING 2023~MOVE AGAIN~” to be held at Orix Theater in Osaka, Japan on February 23, in Fukuoka on February 26, and at the National Grand Hall in Yokohama on March 3.
The fan meeting is KARA’s first offline in about eight years since the “2015 KAMILIA FESTIVAL” held in Tokyo, Japan in 2015. As the five members can be seen on stage after a long time, the Fans responded strongly with all tickets sold out shortly after the Japanese fan meeting’s general reservation kicked off on January 28 at 10 a.m. KST. The members are also known to be quite ready to repay fans for the long wait.
KARA released a special album titled “MOVE AGAIN” in Japan last month to celebrate their 15th anniversary. The music video for the Japanese version of the title track “When I move” reaffirmed KARA’s local popularity by ranking top 100 in real time on Japan’s biggest music site, Line Music Video, ahead of the release of the official album.
Moreover, after the album’s release, KARA appeared on a series of famous Japanese broadcast programs such as TV Asahi “Music Station Ultra Super Live 2022”, Nihon TV “Sukiri”, “Annual Music Awards 2022!” and TBS “CDTV Live! Live!”. Immediately after each broadcast, a number of KARA-related keywords entered the real-time trending top on Twitter around the world, proving its popularity.
