CHUNGHA: End of contract, the artist is free to fly on her own

The singer CHUNGHA will become a “Free artist” after concluding her exclusive contract with her agency.

MNH Entertainment said on its official fan cafe on March 29, “We would like to inform you that CHUNGHA’s exclusive contract, which started in 2016 and has been with us for seven years, will end on April 29, 2023.”

“We ask for your understanding that <Bare & Rare Pt.2> is not released by our company for internal reasons,” it said. “We sincerely thank CHUNGHA for being with us for a long time and thank the Byulharangs for generously supporting CHUNGHA.”

CHUNGHA debuted as an I.O.I project group in 2016. After I.O.I’s activity ended, she started her solo career and hit hard with a number of hit songs.
