BTS’s SUGA is releasing a solo album.

SUGA announced on Weverse on April 3 that he will be releasing his solo album “D-DAY” on March 21. SUGA will release his first official solo album under the name AGUST D, another self of the artist.
“D-DAY” is an album that marks the end of the Agust D trilogy (three-part series) following the mixtapes “AGUST D” (2016) and “D-2” (2020), which SUGA previously released under the name of AGUST D. According to his agency, Big Hit Music, SUGA led all of the work, from the planning to the concept and composition of “D-DAY“, as well as the writing and composition of all songs.
SUGA plans to hold various events to visit fans around the world with his solo album. SUGA, which was disappointed that it was difficult to meet fans in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, will provide a venue to communicate closely with fans, such as video calls and small fan meetings.
In addition, after the release of “D-DAY“, SUGA will hold an international tour “SUGA | Agust D-DAY Tour” in the United States, including Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles and Auckland, as well as in Indonesia, the Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Seoul.
