According to Hanteo Chart, the country’s largest record sales website, as of May 1, the initial sales of SEVENTEEN’s 10th mini album “FML” released on the 24th of last month were 4,552 copies. This is the highest initial sales record in K-pop album history, and SEVENTEEN has reached such a milestone, bragging about its “unique status.”
Over 3.99 million copies of “FML” were sold on its first day of release, making SEVENTEEN the only artist to have sold over 3 million copies on its first day of release.
“FML” swept to the top of the global charts upon its release. One of the double-titled songs, “Super”, topped the realtime charts of Melon and Bugs, major domestic music sites, as well as a total of 36 countries/regions, including Singapore, the Philippines , Brazil and India, on the iTunes “Top Songs” Chart.
The title track’s music video “Super”, which has an impressive blockbuster “Mega Crew Performance“, topped the YouTube World Wide Trend Chart and received a warm response, dominating a total of 10 countries/regions, including Korea, Japan and Singapore.
“FML” also maintained its No. 1 position on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Chart (April 25 to April 29) for five consecutive days, and was also No. 1 on major Japanese music sites Line Music and AWA. , proving the popularity of SEVENTEEN in Japan.
