YOUNGJAE will be participating in the musical “The days“.
YOUNGJAE will be back in a musical through the character of Mu Yeong for the 10th anniversary of “The days“. Other performers include UHM KI JOON (“Little women“), JI CHANG WOOK (“Healer“) and KIM GUN WOO (“The Glory“). The musical should be played from July 12 to September 3.
The plot for “The days” is the story of Jeong Hak and Mu Yeong, two guards of the Blue House (former executive office and official residence of the president of South Korea) who have made close friends before their friendship crumbled when a mission led them to fall in love with a same person.
This musical won’t be the first for YOUNGJAE: in 2021, he played the role of Haram in “Midnight sun“, an adaptation for the Japanese movie “Song of the sun“. At the time, his participation allowed him to show himself in a new register mixing acting and singing, and to highlight his vocal abilities. In this context, he released a duo with KEI (LOVELYZ) entitled “Good-bye days“, which you can discover on platforms like Apple Music or Spotify.
The character of Mu Yeong will be played by OH JONG HYUK and JI CHANG WOOK, who have already been acting this role in the previous rendition of the musical, and by KIM GUN WOO and YOUNGJAE, the two new actors who are expected to revitalize the play. The announcements for YOUNGJAE‘s participation show enthusiasm: with his mellow voice, the main vocalist of GOT7 should be able to portray a new version of the character, full of charms and energy.
