JAY, a former participant of Mnet’s survival show “Boyz Planet“, will join the rookie group “ONE PACT” after his solo debut.
ONE PACT‘s agency, Armada Ent (hereinafter referred to as Armada) revealed JAY as a member of ONE PACT on October 18. Previously, YOON JONGWOO, SUNGMIN, YEDAM and TAG of “Boyz Planet” were known as members.
JAY made his solo debut the day before under the name “JAY CHANG”. While introducing his debut album “LATE NIGHT,” JAY said, “I chose to debut as a solo singer and felt overwhelmed,” but added, “I thought I would be able to show what good I could do as well as my own charm and color as a solo singer.” As a result, JAY announced his joining the boy group a day after his solo debut.
JAY finished in 10th place in the finals on “Boyz Planet”. He gained popularity due to his unique, groovy and powerful voice. In ONE PACT, he plans to establish himself as the lead singer.
Ahead of its debut in the second half of this year, ONE PACT will host the “PRE-DEBUT TOUR 2023 ONE PACT FANCON TOUR, THE PACT,” in Thailand and Japan next month.
