Charges of illegal filming have been added against HIMCHAN, a former member of the group B.A.P. who was tried for forcible harassment.

On October 24, the first hearing was held at the Seoul West District Court for violating the Special Act for Punishing the Crimes of Rape and Sexual Violence (filming using cameras and lewd acts using means of telecommunications).
HIMCHAN is also accused of sexually assaulting victim “A”, whom he took home in May last year, illegally filming her and sending photos and videos to “A”. filmed illegally. At that time, HIMCHAN was on trial for forcible harassment committed earlier.
HIMCHAN, who appeared at the trial, admitted all his accusations and said he was working to reach an agreement with the victim. However, the victim made it clear that she did not intend to reach an agreement and demanded harsh sanctions.
Earlier in 2018, HIMCHAN was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment program for forcibly assaulting a woman in her 20s with whom he was drinking together at a guest house. from Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. He has since been sentenced to prison and is currently serving his sentence following an appeal court hearing in February.
Last year, he was also accused of forcibly assaulting two women by grabbing their waists at an acquaintance’s restaurant in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. This was HIMCHAN’s second sex crime, and he admitted to all charges and submitted a 10 million won settlement for each of the two victims.
In addition to these two crimes, a third sex crime case came to light in April and details of the charges were disclosed during the trial the same day.
While the second and third sex crime charges were merged, HIMCHAN’s second forcible harassment sentencing, scheduled for November 8, was postponed to the 21st of next month at 10:40 a.m.
