The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) conquered the Oricon ranking in Japan with “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”.

According to the latest chart released by Oricon in Japan on the 25th, SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, topped the Oricon daily album chart (October 24) with 324,519 sales. The album also charted locally in Japan, topping the daily album chart Line Music, Japan’s largest music site.
Before that, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” topped both the Japanese iTunes album chart and the K-pop genre upon its release, and also topped Line Music’s real-time album chart.
As soon as the title song of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” was released, it directly rose to the top of major domestic music charts such as Melon, Genie and Bugs. In particular, SEVENTEEN became the first male group to win the Melon TOP100 this year.
“SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” is the title of an album that changed the English expression “Seventh heaven“, which means “a state of flawless happiness”, in a sense specific to SEVENTEEN. At the end of a long journey full of challenges, the happy moment that everyone feels together is “SEVENTEEN Heaven” and means a festival that celebrates and appreciates the achievements of SEVENTEEN and CARATs.
SEVENTEEN is set to appear on KBS’s “Music Bank”, which will air on October 27, to make their comeback.
