AMPERS&ONE
The brand-new group of FNC ENTERTAINMENT, AMPERS&ONE, makes its debut this November 15, with a first single called «AMPERSAND ONE».
Composed of members KAMDEN, BRIAN, JIHO, SIYUN, MACKIAH, KYRELL, SEUNGMO, the group performs directly the title song of this first single; «On and On», just after taking the break for the journalists present at the showcase immortalizing this day. The boys do not seem to let the stress invade them, performing their song without issue and with a smile. The associated clip is also broadcast, placing the singers in the role of students. Given the number of members in the boyband, half an hour has already passed on the hour allotted to the showcase, but the group still takes its time to passionately present the result of its hard work; «AMPERSAND ONE».
Everyone sends their thanks to the people who made these debuts come true, whether it be the agency, the fans, or the group’s relatives. The singers are very happy with this day, but already claim to work very hard and that this will not change in the future. The first time they heard the name of the group, representing the uniqueness of «me, you, us», the members were very pleased, loving the meaning of AMPERS&ONE. In particular, it is this uniqueness that will allow everyone to achieve their dreams, thanks to the support of each other.

The group is all the more special because it comes from a survival of the MNET channel, «Boys Planet», the members BRIAN, KAMDEN and JIHO having participated in it, but also survival «Wild Idol» of MBC, and «Treasure Box». This experience explains that some members have a relaxed attitude on stage. The members also speak in more detail about the title song, expressing their joy equal to listening to the name of the group than listening to the song marking their debuts. Indeed, they were delighted with the energy released by «On and on», representing the spirit of youth. In particular, KAMDEN is the most frequent speaker, appearing to be very comfortable answering the questions asked by the MC.
SEUNGMO is also delighted with the idol makeover they received, being the member standing out the most by his silver hair. He says he looked at himself in the mirror several times, to admire his hair, and tried different poses each time he put on a new outfit. MACKIAH also speaks as maknae of the group, talking about the «cute» role he has to fulfill. Originally, he is not a particularly cute person, not making aegyo on a daily basis. So, he trained and made an aegyo for the journalists.
When asked how they managed to represent the student and campus concept, while half of the group is still in high school, the concerned and especially SEUNGMO and SIYUN replied that they had not experienced any particular difficulties, because they were well supervised by the staff and the older members of the group. In addition, the university did not seem to them to be very different from the high school, so the shooting went well overall.

BRIAN, who is a Canadian, tries as best he can to answer the questions asked, being not yet very good at Korean. He says his experience in «Boys Planet» has strengthened his will to become an idol, and to work hard to achieve his dream, a dream that KAMDEN says he shares. The latter says he is still in contact with former members of the survival, and with some having made their debut as some members of ZEROBASEONE.
NFLYING, a group of the same agency, participated in the writing of AMPERS&ONE’s debut songs, while providing many tips to the young singers. Being able to rely on the other artists of the agency to gather advice also, like SF9, reassured the members of the group, who did not feel alone, but on the contrary well supported, to be able to stand on stage today. Their relatives are also a big part of the success of their debut. Indeed, with lots of emotions, JIHO reveals that his parents had left him until his 20 years to succeed in his dream, considering «Boys Planet» as his last chance.
STRAY KIDS recently made its comeback with «Lalalala», it is also an opportunity for the boys to sympathize with other groups and make challenges on social networks with them. But what matters most is the teamwork of the group, which is international. Indeed, although BRIAN is Canadian, KAMDEN and KYRELL are American and MACKIAH Australian. It is therefore sometimes necessary for the singers to communicate in English, when Korean is too difficult for foreign members.
To conclude this showcase, JIHO hopes to become a member of a group that in the future can create a solid place in the world of Kpop, and one day become an example for younger artists. All members hope to receive a warm welcome for this period of promotion that begins. After thanking the reporters, AMPERS&ONE leaves the stage, not without a last performance on the title «Sheesh». The group does not miss the opportunity to go around the tables to express its thanks for the interest that the press has in them.
