TWS: New MV, one more gift for its fans
The group TWS (Two Us) once again touched the hearts of fans around the world with their cute tension of “찐친 (True Friend)” full of childhood.
TWS made a surprise announcement on Hybe’s official YouTube channel at midnight KST on February 18 with the music video for “BFF”, a song from its debut mini album, “SPARKING BLUE“. The music video for “BFF”, shot in the background of the school, gives a pleasant feeling throughout the viewing thanks to the new chemistry of the six members.
“BFF” is a song about “a very nice relationship when we meet.” As it is a trap R&B genre characterized by a happy and lively sound, the music video also highlights the bright and happy aspects of all six members. The TWS members are close to each other while capturing each other’s images on the smartphone, and the members’ joyful energy in every scene is impressive.
TWS also shows witty choreography as “new performance masterpiece” in this music video. After “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” and “Oh My: 7s“, they performed various move changes in “BFF”. While focusing on the combination of best friends, it adds to the fun of placing musical compositions here and there. In particular, the cute performance of turning a finger into a V to the lyrics of the chorus of “우리만의 V. 함께할 W’in” is eye-catching.
TWS does well with the title track of “SPARKLING BLUE“, “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아“. The song has been in the top 10 for several days on the daily charts of most music sites, including Bugs, Apple Music, Melon, Vibe, Spotify, Korea, Genie Music and Flo. He also ranked No. 2 (February 16), the highest among K-pop artists, in YouTube Music Korea’s “SHORTS Popular Song for a Day”, which selects songs used by creators on YouTube Shorts.
