BIG O!CEAN
BIG O!CEAN, the first K-pop group with three members who are hearing impaired, will debut on persons with disabilities Day on the 20th of next month, Parastar Entertainment announced on the 28th.

BIG O!CEAN is a trio composed of LEE CHANYEON, PARK HYUNJIN and KIM JISEOK. Members sing in Korean Sign Language, English Sign Language, and International Sign Language.
The group’s name, “BIG O!CEAN“, means “to surprise the world” and aspires to “expand across the world like the sea with the same potential as the sea“.
BIG O!CEAN will release its first digital single “빛 (LIGHT)” on May 20. “빛 (light)” is a remake of a hit song of the same name by H.O.T.
Parastar Entertainment joined the MWC2024 (World Mobile Congress) held in Barcelona, Spain last month and entered into partnerships with IT companies including AI Voice. Parastar Entertainment reportedly compensated for limitations caused by poor hearing by using its own light metronome.
“The debut of BIG O!CEAN will have new resonance in terms of ESG culture, one of the biggest concerns of companies and the public in recent years,” said Parastar Entertainment.
