UKISS, which is celebrating its 16th anniversary, will return with a new album.
UKISS (Soohyun, Hoon, Kiseop, Alexander, Eli) will release its 13th mini album “LET’S GET STARTED” on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST this June 25. This is the first new album released in about a year since the 15th anniversary album “PLAYLIST” released in June last year, and it contains a new departure from UKISS, just like the album title.
The title track, “Stay with me“, has a refreshing rock sound, and the gradually intensifying development towards the second half of the song creates overwhelming emotions. This will end the crush or melt away the ambivalence of wanting to bear fruit with the other party in the lyrics, leading listeners to sympathize and immerse.
The new release also contains five songs, including “Love is you“, a witty tale of a protagonist’s fantasy romance story, a trendy reinterpretation of the mega UKISS hit “만만하니”, released 15 years ago, “Beautiful you are“, which confesses love over cool guitar sounds, and “Morse code“, which compares the other person’s mixed feelings to Morse code the album contains a variety of genres, including acoustic pop ballads and techno pop, and shows the expanded musical world of the five members.
Through “LET’S GET STARTED“, UKISS conveys the message that they will not stay in one place but will take on endless musical challenges. Building on the strong team chemistry built over a long time, he is determined to prove his advanced musicianship. In particular, UKISS will hold its first fan concert in Korea on June 29 to commemorate the release of the new album, and will hold its eighth solo concert in three Japanese cities in July to pursue its potential as an “original Hallyu idol”.
