SM Entertainment’s boy group that will be making their UK debut has finally been revealed.

British boy group “DEAR ALICE“, launched by SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment’s North American integration company and British entertainment company MOON&BACK, concluded a press conference held at the Soho Hotel in London on the morning of August 1 (local time).
At the event, the first part and performance video of the six-part TV series “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience“, which will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in August, were unveiled, as well as the group name “DEAR ALICE” with all five members for the first time, attracting the attention of major local media such as The Press Association, the UK’s largest tabloid, The Sun, and Metro.
DEAR ALICE, which was first revealed on the day, is a five-piece group consisting of BLAISE NOON (19), DEXTER GREENWOOD (22), JAMES SHARP (23), OLIVER QUINN (20) and REESE CARTER (20), with an average age of 21.
DEAR ALICE’s youngest member, BLAISE NOON, hails from London, where he studied acting and dance at the BRIT School, an arts school, and DEXTER GREENWOOD is also from London, where he completed a three-year degree in musical theatre at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts.
JAMES SHARP was a content creator from Huddersfield, OLIVER QUINN was a member of the Thunderland Children’s Choir, and REESE CARTER from Wiltshire performed on a cruise ship.
“Training at SM Entertainment was an amazing journey for all of us,” DEXTER GREENWOOD said at a press conference. “We were able to have new experiences thanks to the incredible support from SM Entertainment executives and Korean officials, and through this process, we were able to create amazing TV shows with our team.” It also said about Korea, “Korea was really cool. I fell deeply in love with Korean culture, and everyone was so generous and kind that I really felt like I was in my second hometown.”
