PENTAGON’s JINHO made a strong first impression as an emotional singer-songwriter.
JINHO wrapped up his official activities for his first mini album “CHO:RD” on the stage of MBC’s “Show Music Core” which aired on September 28.
JINHO’s first solo album “CHO:RD”, released by JINHO eight years after his debut as a member of PENTAGON, means “the road to Jinho“. Like the album’s name, JINHO wrote and composed all five songs on the album and participated in the production, showing his true face as a singer-songwriter.
JINHO started his music program career with the title song “Goodbye with you” and the song “나의 너에게, 우리의 순간“. He showcased a variety of performances ranging from lyrical group sounds and soft vocals to refreshing and powerful vocals of the rock genre.
The Japanese version of “CHO:RD” also attracted local attention. JINHO performed well by holding a fan concert at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo with the support of fans. He also became a radio DJ, which he dreamed of becoming, and communicated with fans through live broadcasts.
JINHO said during a live broadcast, “I felt that releasing an album was like life for a singer as I spread my musical universe through a solo album. I will continue to improve and prepare for the next album.”
In his first week of solo career, JINHO has been appreciated for his charming sensitivity, his singer-songwriter abilities, and his musical spectrum that encompasses a wide range of genres. As he has engaged in various activities including musical performances and musicals, he will continue to show a wide range of performances.
