ATEEZ
Today, October 2, ATEEZ released its new Japanese single “BIRTHDAY”.

Seven months after the release of their single “NOT OKAY,” ATEEZ is back with “BIRTHDAY”, a three-track Japanese single and a music video. Consisting of “Birthday,” “Royal,” and “Forevermore,” this new single has attracted attention since HONGJOONG and MINGI were featured as lyricists in the credits of these new tracks. Thus, the title track “Birthday” contains the message of facing everything without fear and enjoying each day as if it were your birthday.
The music video accompanying the latter highlights an atmosphere worthy of a dream. Reminiscent of a birthday party theme, ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) appeared like genies coming to grant our birthday wishes. To accentuate this effect, there are several locations such as a wishing fountain, fireworks, a magic show and a party room. Finally, the video is punctuated with moments illustrating this single’s choreography, holding the attention on the members until the end.
At the same time, ATEEZ held its first fan meeting “ATINY’S VOYAGE: FROM A TO Z” in Japan in August. The fan meetin was a sold-out success, demonstrating the group’s popularity in Japan. In addition, last month, the group unveiled “Royal” in collaboration with BE:FIRST. The track ranked first on Oricon‘s “Weekly Digital Chart” in Japan, sparking local excitement around the new single.
Finally, ATEEZ will be hitting the road again in January 2025 for its “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER” world tour.
