On November 15, ATEEZ released the music video for its new title track “Ice on my teeth”, as well as the album “GOLDEN HOUR: PART.2”.
After talking about the need to continue toward our goal despite obstacles in their album “GOLDEN HOUR: PART.1”, released last May, ATEEZ members now focus on the love that surrounds them and the challenges that come with it in the second opus of “GOLDEN HOUR”.
In addition to “Ice on my teeth”, this new album contains five other tracks including “Deep dive”, which explores inner conflicts, and “Scene 1: value”, which features captivating lyrics. Also included are “Man on fire”, which, with an EDM inspiration, talks about the difficulty of love, as well as “Selfish waltz” and “Enough”, which urge us to move forward despite the challenges we face.
The title track, meanwhile, expresses the idea that when we understand the true value of things, incompatible elements can coexist wonderfully. Like the other songs on the album, HONGJOONG and MINGI participated in the writing of “Ice on my teeth” allowing the title to have this identity specific to ATEEZ.
Just like the album it accompanies, the music video for “Ice on my teeth” turns to a darker and more enigmatic aesthetic than the previous one. In a style reminiscent of film noir, the music video creates an intriguing and singular universe accentuated by the presence of masked silhouettes, elegant ballerinas or even by the large flames that will eventually engulf the mansion. In addition, the members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) accentuate this dramatic effect with their powerful charisma and their perfectly crafted acting.
Finally, on November 16, ATEEZ will perform “Ice on my teeth” on the show “Show! Music Core” broadcast on MBC.
