Cube Entertainment‘s boy group NOWADAYS will be returning with a new song after three months.
NOWADAYS’ new digital single “LET’S GET IT” will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on November 21. NOWADAYS sang the phrase while playing “무궁화꽃이 피었습니다” in the music video teaser released earlier, and gained attention when the hidden person was revealed to be actor Hong Seok Cheon. Since then, the members have shown strong performances, raising expectations for the new song.
“Let’s get it” is an addictive hip-hop genre song with a unique string instrument and a powerful electronic sound. It contains a message to those who spend their boring days every day, saying, “Let’s enjoy this moment by leaving everything behind.” In particular, hit song creator Earattack, who has worked with top K-pop artists, was in charge of production and dynamically expressed the intense colors of NOWADAYS.
NOWADAYS is also featured on the lyric list for “Let’s get it.” SIYUN and JINHYUK, who have regularly participated in rap creation including their debut title track “OoWee,” are in charge of rap creation, while HYEONBIN and YEONWOO are also in charge of writing lyrics.
After a successful initiation ceremony with their debut single “NOWADAYS” in April, the group members have continued their continuous activities from their digital single “RAINY DAY (2024 Remake ver.)” to their second single “NOWHERE,” showing their tireless passion based on their unmatched presence. Recently, they won the IS Rookie Award, their first rookie award at the “2024 Korea Grand Music Awards.”
On the other hand, NOWADAYS will hold a street performance to commemorate the release of new songs at 7:30 p.m. on Red Road in Hongdae, Seoul, and will meet with fans shortly after the release of “Let’s get it.“
