HANGYUL, a member of the group BAE173, continues his fourth significant challenge.
As the Korea-China joint global audition program “Starlight Boys” was first launched on the 26th of last month, BAE173’s HANGYUL made a significant step forward by ranking fourth at the recent ranking announcement ceremony.
HANGYUL grabbed attention right from the start by performing 2PM’s “My house” at the scoring evaluation, the first stage of “Starlight Boys.” HANGYUL attracted attention with his skillful stage control as well as by displaying outstanding visuals and skills. HANGYUL, who showed a brilliant presence at every moment, showed his strong charm by performing 2PM’s “Again & again” at the “K-POP Generation Battle.”
Earlier, HANGYUL appeared on KBS2’s “Idol Reboot Project The Unit,” Mnet’s “Produce X 101,” and JTBC’s “Peak Time” one after another, developing his skills through endless efforts. He then captivated fans around the world with his heartfelt stage, passion, and visuals in his fourth challenge, “Starlight Boys,” proving that the challenge was not in vain, placing fourth at the recent Quick Start ceremony.
In particular, HANGYUL said, “I’ve experienced a lot of survival, but I always found myself so unhappy. This is the first time I’ve ranked fourth, and I think it’s a moment when everything I thought was unhappy turns into happiness,” making his time on “Starlight Boys” even more remarkable.
In the meantime, “Starlight Boys” is a joint global audition program between Korea and China presented by Studio Prism and global platform iQIYI.
