FNC BAND
FNC Entertainment held the “1st FNC BAND KINGDOM in TAOYUAN” (hereinafter referred to as “FNC Band Kingdom“) at Taoyuan Arena in Taiwan from January 4th to 5th, ushering in the new year of 2025. “FNC Band Kingdom” is a family concert featuring all FNC bands including FTISLAND, CNBLUE, N.FLYING and HI-FI UN!CORN.
FNC Entertainment’s oldest group FTISLAND and CNBLUE took charge of the opening and closing of the performance, showcasing the prowess of the original Hallyu groups. FTISLAND showed the essence of a dark rock group with strong and heavy selections such as “Broken,” “Burn it,” and “Serious.” CNBLUE filled the concert hall with excitement by inspiring the audience to sing along with 15-year-old songs such as “Alone,” “Intuition,” “Coffee shop,” and “Sleepless night.”
FNC Entertainment’s youngest group HI-FI UN!CORN, who has established themselves as a trusted and listened-to youth group, continued the performances. HI-FI UN!CORN sang Japanese songs such as “Stay with you” and “Over the rainbow” in Korean. Even the “FNC Medley,” which covered the great songs of FNC Entertainment group members, received great applause as it showed the spirit and bright atmosphere of a rookie. N.FLYING brought emotions to the concert hall with a selection of songs that contain the beauty of youth, including the OST “Star” of the drama “Lovely runner,” which was the hottest topic in 2024, as well as “Blue moon,” “Rooftop,” and “Flashback.”
After each group performance, the special stage, which can only be seen at “FNC Band Kingdom,” was presented in different configurations over the two days, providing a different sense of fun. On the first day, CNBLUE’s performance was accompanied by HI-FI UN!CORN‘s EOM TAEMIN, N.FLYING’s YOO HOESUNG, and FTISLAND’s LEE HONG KI, who sang CNBLUE’s masterpieces such as “In my head” and “Between us.” On the second day, the performance was held by HI-FI UN!CORN‘s FUKUSHIMA SHUTO, N.FLYING’s LEE SEUNG YEOP, and CNBLUE’s JUNG YONG HWA, who pleasantly surprised the audience by performing FTISLAND’s masterpieces such as “I hope” and “Love Love Love.”
This “FNC Band Kingdom” is the first family concert held outside of Japan. It is expected to be held regularly every year due to the success of Taoyuan’s performance. It is also expected to expand to other regions in the future. In addition, attention is being paid to the “FNC Band Kingdom” which will be filled with richer stages in the future, as the debut of a new rookie group AxMxP is scheduled for 2025.
