New girl group GENBLUE performed on the street in Sinchon, paralyzing the neighborhood.

GENBLUE, AYEON, XXIN, YUAN, LILI, AYAKO, and NICO performed on the street in Sinchon, Seoul, on March 22nd to promote the release of their first mini-album “ACT LIKE THAT.”
GENBLUE, who waved widely that day, drew attention with a warm greeting in Korean, even though all of them were Taiwanese except for AYEON, the only Korean.
GENBLUE then opened the stage with “Act like that,” the title track from its first mini-album, which garnered great fans. Following the release of “Act like that,” a fast-paced, addictive pop-dance song, GENBLUE delivered a performance that combined their individuality with perfect breathing, demonstrating the group’s dance prowess. In response, not only fans but also passersby in Sinchon gathered to see GENBLUE and reacted enthusiastically.
Additionally, GENBLUE performed a series of songs, including “Slow down,” a track from the popular Taiwanese audition show “NEXT GIRLZ,” and the addictive Korean debut song “COCOCO,” which captivated everyone. The audience not only supported the members but also sang along and enjoyed the song, setting Sinchon ablaze.
At the same time, as GENBLUE travels between Korea and Taiwan, they revealed the differences between their activities in the two countries, which sparked interest. They said, “Since we’ve participated a lot in entertainment shows and radio programs in Taiwan, we mainly participated in music programs in Korea,” adding that music broadcasting activities are essential, as fancams are important in the Korean music industry.
During the intermission, AYAKO drew attention by recommending stinky tofu as a Taiwanese dish. AYEON, the only Korean member, also sparked curiosity by saying, “I had a hard time trying it at first, but it’s really delicious when I taste it.”
At the end of the performance, GENBLUE expressed their heartfelt feelings to warm the heart. AYEON said, “We are a group called GENBLUE, rookies who debuted last September. I hope you learn a lot about GENBLUE today, and that you enjoy our performance and support us, even if it’s not enough.” LILI added, “I was very nervous, but I made it thanks to you. I love you,” and YUAN added, “It was a very happy moment today.”
Finally, GENBLUE successfully completed its first performance, leaving souvenir photos with the audience who applauded enthusiastically. Consequently, expectations are rising for the activities that GENBLUE, who made a surprise appearance in Sinchon and offered a happy birthday as a gift, will offer in the future.
After the release of their first mini-album “ACT LIKE THAT” on June 6, the members of GENBLUE have been making numerous appearances on various music shows and holding autograph sessions. Their performance will also be featured on “The Show” on SBS M on June 25.
