RED VELVET members WENDY and YERI leave SM Entertainment.
“We inform you that our exclusive contract with Wendy and Yeri has ended. We will sincerely support Wendy and Yeri in their new beginnings,” SM Entertainment announced on April 4.
As members ofRED VELVET, they will accompany SM Entertainment in their activities. The agency stated, “We wish you all the best in your continued RED VELVET journey.”
It finally added, “Thank you very much for your generous support of WENDY and YERI, and we hope you will closely follow the steps of these two members as they reach new milestones in their respective roles.”
Previously, RED VELVET members SEULGI, IRENE, and JOYhad renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment. However, due to lack of news, WENDY and YERI’s renewal attracted attention. The two members will still continue their activities with the group.
