Artist G-DRAGON (Kwon Ji Yong) takes on the challenge of sending his music and a MV into space through Azure OpenAI, produced by Galaxy Corporation, KAIST, and Microsoft, and used by Sora.

His project, also a visiting professor of mechanical engineering at KAIST, is expected to mark a milestone in the field of entertainment technology, which encompasses space science, AI, and entertainment.
The G-DRAGON Space Sound Source Transmission Project, to be held at the KAIST Space Research Institute on April 9 at 8 p.m. KST, showcases the future of entertainment technology transcending time and space, in cooperation with Galaxy Corporation and KAIST. It is an artistic experiment that goes beyond simple musical attempts to sustainably preserve human culture in space and attempt to communicate with other civilizations.

This transmission is particularly linked to NASA’s SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project. SETI is a historic project that transmitted the music of the British rock band THE BEATLES into space. The G-DRAGON Space Sound Transmission Project is the first SETI project in Korea.
Furthermore, Galaxy Corporation established a partnership with KAIST last year and aims to spearhead the entertainment industry of tomorrow by combining entertainment and technology that transcends time and space. Recently, the company held a private meeting with Microsoft CEO Nadella, as the only entertainment company promoting the globalization of AI-powered entertainment technologies.
