JUNGKOOK of BTS continues to shine on the global stage with another Billboard milestone thanks to his hit song “Seven.”

JUNGKOOK, a member of BTS, is consistently breaking records with his track “Seven,” further solidifying his global presence.
According to the latest Billboard chart dated May 31, JUNGKOOK’s debut solo single “SEVEN,” released in July 2023, ranked 157th on the Global 200 chart. It also placed 82nd on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
“Seven” has shown remarkable staying power, remaining on the Global 200 for 96 consecutive weeks and on the Global Excl. U.S. for 97 weeks. With this achievement, JUNGKOOK becomes the first Asian solo artist to chart for such an extended period on both rankings—setting a new historic record.

According to Billboard’s official website, JUNGKOOK has appeared a total of 231 weeks on the Global 200 and 280 weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
With “Seven,” he also reached a major Spotify milestone: it became the first song by an Asian solo artist to remain on the platform’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 98 consecutive weeks—the longest duration ever for an Asian solo act.
Additionally, his first solo album “GOLDEN,” released in November 2023, has made history as well. It is the first solo album by an Asian artist to chart for 81 weeks on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart, marking another unprecedented achievement.
“Seven” has surpassed 2.36 billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest and first track by an Asian artist to reach that number.

Most recently, JUNGKOOK won four awards at the “2025 BMI Pop Awards”, hosted by the American performing rights organization BMI, setting the record for the most wins ever by a K-pop solo artist.
