Singer LEE CHAN WON showcased his talents as a true “all-around entertainer” from the very first episode of Music Booth.
On May 31 at 10:40 PM KST, the premiere of Music Booth: Let’s Go Anywhere aired on KBS 2TV. On this day, LEE CHAN WON visited a traditional market and a street lined with food stalls along with other cast members, under the theme “The Beginning and End of the Day.”
As soon as LEE CHAN WON arrived, the market instantly transformed into an impromptu fan meeting. He received an explosive welcome from local vendors, each one greeting him warmly — a clear sign of his popularity. Smiling, LEE CHAN WON jokingly remarked, “I’m the idol of the marketplace.”
He went on to say, “We’ll be traveling all around the country to bring music to people. What if we go directly to them and let them hear our music? What if we meet and connect with citizens face to face?” expressing his excitement. He added, “Today we’re in Seoul, but we can go anywhere in the country — I’m really looking forward to it.”
He then kicked off the busking stage with performances of “아름다운 강산” and “남자라는 이유로”. With his powerful vocals and commanding stage presence, LEE CHAN WON lit up the atmosphere. Fellow member Hanhae couldn’t hide his amazement, saying, “This is on a whole different level.”
The second location was a popular food stall street in the Mapo District of Seoul. Visiting such a place for the first time since his debut, LEE CHAN WON exclaimed, “Today, everything’s on me!” earning cheers from the crowd. He then performed “미워요”, pouring out deep emotion and touching everyone, making the atmosphere even warmer.
