SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN continues to dominate the charts with its 5th studio album and its title track.

The album’s title track, “Thunder,” reached #1 on the daily Bugs chart as of May 31. The song initially debuted at #2 on May 27 and steadily remained in the top tier before finally claiming the top spot.
The album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” has also topped album charts both in South Korea and internationally. Upon its release in Japan, it held the #1 position on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking for four consecutive days (May 27–30). It’s the only K-pop album released this year to earn “double million seller” status on its first day, propelling it directly to the top of the Hanteo Chart’s daily album ranking.
International media have also reacted enthusiastically to SEVENTEEN’s comeback. On May 31 (local time), the official Grammy Awards website (grammy.com) stated that “HAPPY BURSTDAY” brilliantly showcases the members’ exceptional musical abilities, and added that “SEVENTEEN is opening a new chapter—not only with this album, but also through their tour and the release of a new unit’s single album.”
Meanwhile, the group is set to appear today (June 1) on SBS’s music show Inkigayo, where they will once again deliver a powerful performance.
