YOOA has signed an exclusive contract with Saram Entertainment.
On June 2, Saram Entertainment (hereafter referred to as “Saram Enter”) announced:
“YOOA has signed an exclusive contract with us. She is an artist with endless potential and possibilities. We’re very pleased that she is beginning her acting career with Saram Entertainment. We will give her our full support so that she can thrive across various fields.”
YOOA debuted in 2015 as a member of the idol group Oh My Girl, earning immense love from the public with hit songs like “Secret garden”, “Nonstop”, “Dolphin”, and “Dun Dun Danc”e. She was also the first member of the group to pursue a solo career, releasing her first mini-album “BON VOYAGE” in 2020, followed by her second mini-album “SELFISH” and first single “BORDERLINE”, continuing her active journey as a singer.
Now, YOOA is entering a new chapter by joining Saram Enter, aiming to expand her career into acting. She is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming crime drama film tentatively titled Project Y, in which she will play a character involved in stealing hidden cash and gold bars, alongside Do Kyung. The film follows the story of two young women, Mi Seon and Do Kyung, who have nothing but each other and try to escape a harsh reality.
YOOA’s venture into acting and her transition to the big screen are drawing significant interest and anticipation.
