SEVENTEEN scores fourth music show win with “Thunder”.

SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has secured its fourth music show win with its latest title track “Thunder.”
On June 7, SEVENTEEN took first place on MBC’s Show! Music Core with “Thunder,” the title track of their 5th full-length album “HAPPY BURSTDAY”. Thanks to a strong balance of physical album sales and digital streams, the group achieved the highest score of the year on the program, drawing attention.
With this win, SEVENTEEN has now claimed trophies on four major music shows: Show Champion (MBC M), M Countdown (Mnet), Music Bank (KBS2), and Show! Music Core (MBC).
The members expressed their gratitude by saying:
“We worked really hard on this album, and we’re so happy to see our efforts being rewarded. We dedicate this trophy to our CARATs (the name of their fandom). Thank you so much.”
On stage, SEVENTEEN once again proved its status as seasoned artists with 10 years of experience. Its natural charisma and confidence captivated audiences, and during the encore performance, the members flawlessly performed live, reaffirming their strong vocal abilities.
“Thunder” is winning over listeners with its catchy sound and powerful choreography. The song has reached No. 1 on Melon’s “Top 100” and Bugs’ daily chart, and it also topped the Circle Chart’s weekly digital ranking (for the week of May 25–31).
Internationally, SEVENTEEN continues to shine, appearing on major global charts such as the Billboard Global 200, Global Excl. U.S., the UK’s Official Singles Download and Sales Charts, and the Billboard Japan Hot 100, proving their worldwide popularity.
SEVENTEEN will take the stage again with “Thunder” on SBS’s Inkigayo on June 8. In addition, they’re continuing to share new content with fans, including episode 2 of “NaNa Guesthouse with SEVENTEEN“, which will be released simultaneously on tvN and Disney+ on June 9. The full version will be available on Weverse on June 9 and 13. Their fan-favorite variety series “GOING SEVENTEEN”, often referred to as the “K팝계의 무한도전 (Infinite Challenge of K-pop),” will return with a new season on June 25.
