International artist JENNIE’s album “RUBY” has been recognized as one of the “Best Albums of 2025” by several renowned foreign media outlets.
On June 24 (local time), the American magazine Billboard published on its official website the list of “The 50 Best Albums of 2025 So Far,” featuring JENNIE’s first solo album “RUBY”. She is the only K-pop artist included in this selection.
Billboard describes “RUBY” as: “Fans had been waiting a long time for JENNIE’s official solo debut. “RUBY” is a first project that exudes confidence, elegance, and intense energy.”
The magazine adds:
“The album opens with ‘like JENNIE,’ with straightforward and confident lyrics revealing a proud JENNIE. This energy runs throughout the album, with each track reinforcing the central theme, making “RUBY” a symbol of JENNIE’s artistry. “RUBY” is rare, authentic, and multifaceted.”

Previously, famous American magazines Rolling Stone and Complex also selected “RUBY” as one of the best albums of 2025. JENNIE is thus the only K-pop artist to appear on these prestigious lists, confirming her global influence and presence.
Produced by JENNIE herself, “RUBY” expresses her identity and vast musical possibilities through 15 diverse tracks, including the lead single “like JENNIE.”
